Hi,
I am pleased to announce the release of SizeFixer Home the simple, cost-effective way to quadruple the number of pixels from your cameraphone, compact digital camera or your favourite older digital camera.
SizeFixer Home can completely transform a cameraphone. I have used test versions for some months to enlarge 2 MegaPixel photos from my Nokia N70 up to 8 MegaPixels and produced stunning results. It can breath a new lease of life into your camera and is perfect if you have an A4 (8.5" by 11") printer.
SizeFixer Home is our most affordable upsizing solution yet. Try it for free and see the benefits for yourself.
BBC Radio Five Live contacted FixerLabs at the end of September about the photograph thought to be of Madeleine McCann in Morocco. A little blonde girl on a woman's back, her face partially obscured and her eyes only 5 pixels apart in the image. There was, however, enough "contextual" information in the image to find and "eliminate the family from the enquiry" the next day. "Could the image really be enlarged?", they asked in a live interview. "Yes, of course it could." Without any knowledge of the camera it was a challenge, but using a SizeFixer testbed program, set to a 16-fold increase in the number of pixels, the girl's face was vastly clearer than anything published in the UK press.
Interestingly, SizeFixer Home produces even better results than FocusFixer if you leave the size unchanged at 100%. The SizeFixer family all give superb results because they share the same super-resolution engine. At FixerLabs we believe in comparing an image to the original scene in front of the camera. Have a go for yourself, on your photographs, with the fully functional 15 day free trial, and see for yourself.
We continue to get rave reviews and feedback from customers:
In the August (2007) edition of The Photographer (The British Institute of Professional Photography Magazine) Jon Tarrant writing about software for image sharpening said: "Photoshop's various sharpening filters are fairly similar to each other and FocusFixer has a significant edge over all of Adobe's in-built mechanisms."
Mark Withers, a discerning, UK amateur photographer, gave me a similar comment: "With FocusFixer it just looks right - with Photoshop you can always tell."
Our crossgrade promotion for SizeFixer XL must end on October 31st.
SizeFixer XL is the choice of professionals and is available for $134.95, less if you currently use another upsizing solution and use the "GF75" coupon at the checkout. SizeFixer Home is also available from our promotion store at the introductory price of $59.95, or you can try it for free for 15 days on a selection of your own photographs.
And finally, some good news for Apple Mac users like me: in November we will be releasing free updates for existing owners of SizeFixer XL and SLR, and a new SizeFixer Home for Mac. All will be Leopard and Intel Mac (UB) compatible.
Best regards
