Focal Plane adjustment with TrueBlur

| In this photo of Pete Airey playing in Bristol the camera autofocus locked onto the music stand leaving Pete's face very soft - a typical problem. I have used TrueBlur and FocusFixer to swap the focal plane from the music stand to Pete's face. TrueBlur was used to selectively blur the music stand and FocusFixer used to selectively remove most of the softness from Pete's face. The result is very much closer to what the photographer originally intended. |
