SizeFixer Reviews & Quotes

"Well ..... I'm stunned !!!"

"I've used the new SizeFixer XL trial ...... and compared it against the old SizeFixer SLR and against the new Genuine Fractals 5.

The new SizeFixer XL is MUCH faster (and I mean much, much, much faster) than either SizeFixer SLR or the supposedly top notch GF5 !!! (On my MacBook Pro 2.33GHz, 2Gb ram)
And the results .......... obviously an improvement over SLR ..... but the big shock was how much better the new XL is than GF5!!!! Yes ... GF5 works .... but the quality of files increased in size by XL are FAR better.
A further bonus ..... despite GF5's improved workflow over older versions ..... is that SizeFixer is so much easier to use!!!"

"SizeFixer is certainly a worthwile investment"

The professional's choice for large format printing     The June 2007 edition of the Irish Printer magazine features an in depth review of FixerLabs and SizeFixer from the perspective of the print industry. Roy Buckley comments

"[SizeFixer] produced an enhanced image that was extremely high quality, showing none of the artefacts expected in over-blown images and more than justified the time invested. If you find yourself needing to blow up pictures beyond their natural limits.. SizeFixer is certainly a worthwile investment".

"The exhibition prints have come out stunning using SizeFixer"
"The exhibition prints have come out stunning using SizeFixer and an Epson R3800. The exhibition opening isn't until the 28th June but I am getting good reviews already. You can see the work at www.johnnyjetstream.com under the Urban Deserts portfolio.
This is the third exhibition I have done with SizeFixer."

"Our customers are stunned at what can be done enlarging their photos"

"I can't imagine what I'd do without Sizefixer and the FixerBundle.  My wife and I run a small digital imaging company and we use Sizefixer and the Bundle exclusively when it comes to enlargements.

Our customers are stunned at what can be done enlarging their photos. You wouldn't believe what Sizefixer did with one picture (282k jpeg). I told the customer that it would be very very difficulty to produce much of an enlargement from such a small image, if at all.  Well, I managed to tweak it up to an 18" by 24".  The guy did handsprings.  He
was thrilled.  Actually, I was rather stunned as well.

You guys have a great product and your support is so much better that most of the "other" companies.    Hope you can make a fortune and retire early to enjoy it.

Many thanks - a VERY satisfied customer."

"I was astonished at the results"

"I have personally tried SizeFixer XL and was astonished at the results. This is far superior to other products on the market that I have used for resizing images."

"I am impressed!"

I am impressed! I will be buying the software for my own use. I have several images that I want to make poster sized for trying to get display space at the local bookstore. [The SizeFixer Service was] well worth the 25 bucks to see how well it worked.

Thanks, Mike Sweeney, USA

"Great Product !!!"

Just a quick note to tell you how pleased I am with your SizeFixer SLR. Although I am in possession of many, more pixel-capable cameras, I have always loved my Kodak DCS 620 and 620x bodies. Using your wonderful program, I am able to size images to 10x8 with remarkable clarity. Recently, I had my friend compare such an image to an image created by a Nikon D100. Guess what? He could not guess which was shot by which camera. This is, in my opinion, the true endoresement.

"SizeFixer [is] the best."
A thorough analysis of alternate options for enlarging a 5MPixel image including Photoshop Bicubic, Capture One, Printer resampling and SizeFixer.

"Size Fixer [was] the best. The detail was cleaner (no hint of jaggies on the diagonals) and the out of focus areas were smoother. No banding. I couldn't tell that this image had been resized. The point about the diagonals was interesting as I had thought that the other methods were acceptable until I saw this result."

"(enlarges) with no visible loss of quality... an amazing achievment."
An extract from a recent SizeFixer review in the British Journal Of Photography, dated 23/Nov/2005, noted .."a particular use ..for SizeFixer in in enlarging cropped sections of input images without any loss of sharpness. I succeeded in generating a 67MB file from a tiny part of an 11MB original. Close inspection of the resampled files confirmed that it had suffered no visible loss of quality. This is an amazing achievement." Read Jon Tarrant's full review from the BJP. Arrow

"SizeFixer's results were amazing "

An extract from the latest SizeFixer review in Macworld. "... There are a number of Photoshop plug-ins, such as pxl SmartScale and Genuine Fractals Printpro, that enlarge images and post-process them to enhance sharpness and edge contrast. The results are good but still not marvellous when printed out from a high-quality large-format inkjet printer. Can SizeFixer do a better job? ..... In our test, shots from a Sony DSC-F828 8-megapixel camera were blown up to A3 and printed on an Epson Stylus Photo 1280, along with similar enlargements using other methods. SizeFixer’s results were amazing with an incredible level of detail. Even more impressive were the cropped results, effectively enlarging to A2 and even A1."
