So which was which?
Image 1 - 1MP was used to create Image B
67% 33%
Image 2 - 2MP was used to create Image D
39% 61%
Image 3 - 3MP was used to create Image A
37% 63%
Image 4 - 6MP was the same as Image C
31% 69%
So how many did you identify correctly?
The majority of you correctly identified the 1MP source image - 67% as Image B. But with that option out of the way pure chance would say that 33% would select any of the others as the 2, 3 or 6MP images and that's pretty much what you did. In fact the results for the 3 MP source image, which should have been easier to spot than the 2MP were almost an even spread with 37% correctly identifying the source as Image A, but 29% though it was C (the 6 MP image) and 28% thought it was D (the 2MP image). And, surprisingly too, for the original 6MP image 34% of you picked Image A (the 3 MP image) and only 31% correctly identified the source as Image C!
So from that you might conclude that the Pixel race is over as you only need 2 or 3 MP and our software to produce better results than a 6MP camera!
So here's a thought. Have you ever wished that you had remembered to bring your camera with you when that unexpected 'picture moment' occurs? I know I have. But did you have a camera phone with you and never thought to use it? Well with SizeFixer now you can!
