Once you have selected your preferred image region and output size parameters you may select the next tab of the control panel - Super Resolution, for upsizing options. Upsizing is a two stage process, first enlarging the image and then for best results applying our Super Resolution trechnology to sharpen the iage. Super Resolution uses our patented LensFIT technology to build a model of the camera and optics in order to enlarge your image in the same way that your camera would, retaining the sharpness of the original image as it is upsized. To do this it reads the EXIF data saved with the image. If the available data is incomplete you will be unable to select the Super Resolution feature for sharpening, but you will still be able to use the USM feature available on the next tab of the control panel. Having selected Super Resolution it is important to specify the correct make and model of camera from the drop down boxes. As all cameras perform differently selecting the wrong make and model may impair the quality of the final image. For a list of supported cameras check here.
