The control panel explained..
Once installed TrueBlur will appear as a Filter option in Photoshop. To use you first select an image or image region. The control panel will display the original image in the left window and the softened result in the right hand window. To move the preview window around the image you drag the mouse to the preferred location. To adjust the level of zoom select the + or -icon.
TrueBlur has two controls: one to blur your photo and one to add
noise. These are normally the two things we seek to avoid or remove,
but in a creative context you may want to blur a region of a photo
subtley to drive the viewers attention elsewhere in an image, or even
to correct for focal plane errors.
The Blur slider will blur your photo in the same way as your camera,
just as if the region of the photo were outside the depth-of-field of
the photo. To do this TrueBlur uses our LensFIT technology to model your camera
and optics. It does this by reading the EXIF information attached to the original photograph. In some cases you may need to specify the Make and Model of the camera to activate the LensFIT feature, in which cas a dialogue box will appear. (Check here for a list of currently supported cameras. and here to see an example of the camera options in a FocusFixer control panel))
