Opening and closing images
Opening images
Images can be opened in one of two ways:
- Choose
Open from the File menu.
- Drag an image from the FinderTM onto SizeFixer's main interface window.
When loading completes, you'll see a small preview of the image in the top left of the user interface, and a View opened onto it (see screenshot below).

Closing images
You can close an image from the File menu. NOTE: closing Views (the preview windows onto the image) does NOT close the image. See the section on Views for more explanation.
If you try to close an image that is being processed, you'll be asked whether you want to continue.
In addition to closing images yourself, SizeFixer will prompt you to close if you open a second image. This will change when the Batch mode is made available in an update. If you attempt to open a second image while the current image is processing, you'll be told to stop processing before continuing.
